I would like to give an outstanding review for Alana Kirk. As first time parents, we were apprehensive for anyone to care for our newborn son. Alana had a wonderful disposition with both, us as cautious parents and more importantly with our son. She essentially taught me how to be a first time mom. I had a traumatic delivery and she prioritized my healing while caring for our son with such ease. She stayed with us for three weeks, day and night, providing the best guidance I could have ever asked for. She went the extra mile in all she did whether it was helping me breastfeed and store up my milk supply or organizing my son’s closet and drawers with all newborn “must haves”; she paved the way for us as a new family of three. She is well versed in newborn care and helped us establish our son’s feed/play/sleep routines. She taught us that it’s not about putting your baby on “schedule” it’s the fact that your baby will thrive on consistency. We are living proof that her words are true. Our son has been doing amazing with eating, playing, and sleeping since she left. She helped us establish healthy bedtime habits. When she was here she was always helpful and non intrusive. I would walk into our son’s room and she would be playing with him and doing tummy time often. Having Alana in our home allowed me to become a caring and effective mother and I can’t thank her enough. We truly enjoyed her as our baby nurse and would recommend her to anyone.
